It’s no BetOnline scam to see North Carolina and Kentucky so far ahead of the rest of the pack in college basketball, especially early in the season as they have more talent than anyone in the country. They should make it to the Final Four, along with a Big East school and an SEC underdog.
North Carolina (+175): The Tar Heels have looked very good to start the season and they deserve to be the price per head favorites; John Henson, if he continues to shoot well from the outside, may take the biggest leap in terms of NBA draft stock, although Harrison Barnes is still the star of the show.
Kentucky (+300): The Wildcats are also loaded, and their defense will be the key to this Kentucky team. Terrence Jones can be a star in the NCAA, and the Wildcats are typically stocked with freshmen, but can they shoot from the outside?
Syracuse (+800): This edition of the 2-3 Syracuse zone is one of the more athletic versions we’ve seen, but if Kris Joseph can’t break out in his senior year on the offensive end, we don’t know what to say about his draft stock.
Vanderbilt (+3000): The Commodores stumbled early in the season and that may have been the best thing for a team with high expectations, and remember, they don’t have center Festus Ezeli in the lineup yet. You may want to jump on Vanderbilt’s college basketball betting odds right away.
