BCS Title Odds – LSU, Alabama Face Off Once Again For All The Marbles

Some NCAA football fans will be thrilled, and some won’t, but we have our matchup for the BCS title game, to be played in New Orleans. LSU, the only undefeated team left in the country, will square off against Alabama, who lost to the Tigers at home in November.

Alabama LSU Odds – January 9th, 8:30 PM ET

The No.2 Crimson Tide (11-1, 7-1 SEC) have dominated everyone in their path except for the Tigers, and this is where people who purchase bookie software figured Alabama would be at this point of the season. They have a running back in Trent Richardson who could win the Heisman (their second in three years) and a defense that has allowed the fewest points in the country.

The No.1 Tigers (13-0, 8-0 SEC) pulled away from Georgia in the SEC title game, and what they lack in offense, they make up for with defense and the best special teams in the country; cornerback Tyrann Mathieu is going to New York for the Heisman ceremony, and he can turn a game on a dime with his punt-return skills.

LSU opened up as a 2.5 or 3-point favorite in the rematch, but this game is now a pick ‘em. The first game would have gone Alabama’s way if not for missed field goals, and LSU kept holding on, taking the game to overtime before snatching the win. Look for Alabama to take more risks offensively this time or else this is going to be a carbon copy of the first game. You won’t be wrong with either pick, but we’re taking Alabama to avenge their loss and pick up the online betting victory.
